Isn't it funny how women criticize men who "don't commit"?
Q. When men have the most to lose, and women the most to gain from a committed relationship? Most men are NOT afraid of commitment. This is something women like to hear because of their narcissistic and shallow egos. The truth is, men are afraid of DIVORCE. They're afraid of being railroaded by a biased legal system which favors women 90% of the time. As women initiate divorce 80% of the time (look it up)they also end up taking a man's children, house, money, and future money. That's what's in it for men and marriage these days. Even if you don't agree with this argument, you can't deny it has merit.

A. I keep saying it, if you love him enough to marry him, you should have no problem signing a pre-nup with clauses that cover what happens after you have children. And to the guys, there is nothing wrong with asking for a pre-nup in order to protect yourselves in the event that "god forbid something happens". After all it is no different than having car, home or life insurance or writing a will.

Is it arrogant of women to criticize men as "losers" who can't get sex easily from women?
Q. since sex comes much easier to them? Wouldn't that be like a man criticizing a woman for struggling to lift heavy things with ease or being unable to make rational, intelligent points, or some other type of difficulty women are not well suited for? Untamed - your last point is out of left field...I never said that, and for you to read it that way shows a severe lack of reading comprehension on your part Anna- that is good you don't criticize men, but to claim it is as difficult for you as a guy of equal caliber is ridiculous...even if you were ugly as hell (not implying that you are) you would still have a much easier time then an equally ugly guy.

why do feminists criticize pro-life men, but support male circumcision? does "my body my choice" apply to boys?
Q. why do feminists criticize pro-life men, but support male circumcision? does "my body my choice" apply to boys? i hear feminists talk about "men assaulting womens rights" about abortion, and saying only women should choose a womans body issue. ok, fine ill but that. but isnt it funny that the same doesnt apply to boys? what happens to "my body my choice" when its a male? "my foreskin my choice?"

A. It is not 'funny'. It is a shame to do this to little boys- before they have a choice. It was a religious tradition. It later became a common practice because it helps males stay 'cleaner' - really important during sexual activity. If we waited until a male could make a logical decision on this procedure, he would be old enough that the procedure would be quite painful and require more medical care. Personally I would not have done that if I had had a boy child, but how do I (as a woman) teach a boy to keep himself clean?

Why does society criticize men who prefer the childfree and single life...?
Q. But empowers women who make the same choice? If a man prefers the childfree and single life he's told to grow up and step up to the plate. But when a woman refuses to marry and have kids she gets a pat on the back because she's "proving a point" that shoe doesn't need a man and kids in her life. Jessie: You must live in a cave then.

A. You are competing with the societal image of the guy who has no trouble making babies, but doesn't want to participate in taking care of them afterwards ... the deadbeat dads, etc. No one hears about women leaving their pregnant boyfriend in the lurch. So this image is transferred to all men who appear to be unwilling to embrace fatherhood.

Why do white men criticize black men for boasting about "the big penis" but then do the same to Asian Men?
Q. Whenever I hear black men talk about the stereotype of them having bigger penises I hear white guys respond that that is a sign of black men being immature, but they do same thing to Asian men. All the time white guys boast how they have bigger things then Asian men. Don't white guys know that it was them not us black men who created the stereotype. People say the stereotype was created during slavery to justify enslaving black men, but it was actually existed as far back as ancient Rome, when rich Roman women would sleep with black gigolos-I read about this in a book named the Romans and the Blacks. A Roman doctor named Galen also wrote about the same thing. Furthermore the Roman drew macrophallic images of black men. Point is white need… [cont.]

Why do men criticize Americanized women?
Q. but they can be "Americanized" all they want. I see a lot of White men say they want Asian women because they are more hardworking, nicer and more fit. So White men are allowed to be lazy, obnoxious and fat. Why should a woman be contributing to them if they are not acting fair?

Why do women criticize men for being shallow?
Q. Women are shallow themselves. Will someone please admit it on here? I mean all I'm saying is if you are going to criticize men for having standards and not wanting to date someone because they are on the fat side or don't want to be seen in public with them, don't follow through the same way. Because I know women can be shallow. I hear them talk about it with their friends all the time about who they think is cute and who is ugly. You know you wouldn't date guys who aren't good looking so why even try to criticize guys for thinking the same. Having standards is different. You are entitled to choose who you want to date or be in a relationship with by looks. I just get tired of women saying to me "It's what's on the inside that counts.& [cont.]

Why do women insist on men "settling down"?
Q. I've heard so many women criticize men who don't want to "settle down." Just because the men are happy being single, maybe dating a girl, maybe dating many girls, etc... Enjoying their life. Most men are happier before they got married and proof of this is the divorce rate. Why should a man give up his life of having the newest technology/TVs, sports on 24 hours a day and not Dancing with the Stars, drinking beer whenever he wants, going out with whoever he wants whenever he wants, etc... He can have the car he wants, toys (i.e. motorcycles, boats, etc...), travel, etc... Why is it that women feel that a man needs to pay for a woman's bills, pay for her human annuities, slave away at a job to come home to nagging, criticism, etc.. [cont.]
Asked by - Tue Nov 2 01:22:15 2010 - Marriage & Divorce - 12 Answers - Comments
A. Because they're selfish. They want him to do what they want to make their life better. Kable, when I was 22yo I thought more or less the same things. I was done partying. I was done sleeping around. etc... There are virtually no women in America worth marrying. The few there are, you will probably not meet and even if you do you will not be a strong enough candidate to attract them. You will be much, much, much happier single.

Why do people automatically assume that because I am a feminist, I am out to demean or criticize men?
Q. I do not demean or criticize anybody, so why would I do this to men? I feel like men are just as negatively affected by stereotypical gender roles as women are. Or do you make them feel comfortable by your warmth and ability to make a great canoli? Do you have any other interests? Pets? What do you talk about other than your work? Do you like to read humor? Why do men criticize women who aren't rail skinny?
Q. Most men I know think that the curvy/average/healthy/naturally sturdy or stout women are "whales who just can't put the goddamn fork down". Other women, however, seem much more forgiving about weight. They publicly embrace other women having curves, looking healthy and natural, etc. But men expect the women to look like Vegas showgirls. (NOT all men...just the ones I know.) What the men fail to understand is that it's MUCH harder for women to lose weight than for men. ALL the non-skinny women I know diet and exercise their arses off relentlessly to the point of misery, and yet STILL can't lose weight. Clearly, it's just not natural for them to be skinny. It's impossible. But then men misjudge these women, justifying their beliefs… [cont.]

A. The reason is most men have high metabolisms or can lose weight easily so they mis judge women and can seem like jerks. Im a guy but personally i think women who are rail thin are degrading and kinda gross like men who take steroids are degrading. Guys just seem to take misconceptions as truth so you should either just tell them off or meet some other guys. Guys embrace other guys with beer bellies as normal even though they let themselves go a little bit so just relax and follow my earlier advice.

Men! What kind of men criticize their ladies of their cleaning?
Q. I am pretty darn clean! I work full time. It's ok. I like to clean, but I don't enjoy getting criticism for it. It hurts. He sais he is from a neat freak fam but the only one that cleans is his mom that does not work. We got in such a fight over it that were are DONE. He told me I was selfish, dirty, don't know how to clean, clean only for others and all these things. I was so hurt that I told him that I was going to criticize him, after trying to tell him he was hurting my feelings, I was sorry and that I like to clean for us. He talked liek an agent off matrix( all the time lately) like such a cold stranger. SO I told him his dick was not hard enogh. I know! So bad. so he said I am just temporary and that now he will never trust me. He… [cont.]

Females in the baseball section: Do you ever get tired of men criticizing women about baseball?
Q. What I'm saying is do you get tired of men stereotyping women for their lack of knowledge with baseball? I know some women don't pay attention to it, but do you female fans like to ignore those guys? How do the young men like me react when they find out that you know so much about the sport? I give credit to all you women and that includes all my female contacts. You can say something more than "oh that guy is so cute." Its not just about a man's looks. Its how they play the game.

A. yup its very bothersome but you gotta ignore that stuff. I have nothing to prove I am who I am and if anyone else thinks i'm full of it then fine. Let them think that way. Sometimes i can be stubborn and go off and say how i'm such a big baseball fan but that's a waste of my time and the other person's time as well. Most boys do get surprised (or think i'm just faking it) and sometimes I just don't tell them and let them figure me out on their own. I don't have anyone outside of y!a and my fam that likes sports so ... whatev Well that is quite nice of you to say so! Thank you!

WOMEN and MEN over 21 would you AGREE this is TRUE?
Q. As a guy involved in ANY kind of relationship with a woman ... your odds of scoring up with any other woman are very slim and dependant entirely on how slick you are at covering things up for how long. Basically if the other woman finds out you are jewed, screwed, and tatooed. As a woman in ANY kind of relationship you basically have your pick of the guys (especially if you are attractive). Furthermore, if your relaltionship is of a divorce nature (ex husband, etc) you even get to call your sh*t a "package". You can even criticize men that don't want to accept your "package" as being selfish or worse. Even if you cover up your "package" you can later back pedal and "explain it all" and the guy will… [cont.]

Why do women think men can be too nice when that's more insulting to the guy?
Q. What many women need to understand is that not all men cheat, nor beat women. Some, like myself---while we do have wandering eyes, we're still called "too nice". How the hell can you be too nice? Ladies, do you really think calling a guy too nice isn't the kiss of death? It's like calling a woman fat. There's no such thing as too nice, and women who dump guys or criticize men for being like that are truly the ones who are missing out. Guys, don't it mean if a woman throws a guy under the bus for being "too nice" that she's not worth it anyway?

How can people criticize Peyton Manning for "only" winning one Super Bowl?
Q. One of the biggest knocks, or the only knock, on Peyton Manning seems to be that he "can't win the big game," especially when comparing him to Eli or Tom Brady. I can't see the reasoning behind this. Pretty much every NFL fan knows that defense wins championships. As cliche as it is, it's the truth. Just look at every Super Bowl winner over the last decade. Every single one with the exception of the Rams and the Colts won with a team focused around defense, and the one year the Colts did win was the year their defense (mostly Bob Sanders) was healthy and performing to the highest level possible. Do people really think that if Peyton was on the Patriots or the Giants that he would have done any worse than Eli or Brady?

A. Because he does play poorly in the playoffs, people need to quit always blaming their defense. Manning and the offense are just as much to blame, if not more so. In his 15 playoff games, the offense is averaging 23 points per game, down from the 27 points per game that the team averages in their playoff years during the regular season. As opposed to the defense which in 15 playoff games gives up an average of 22 points per game, up from the 20 points per game that they average during the regular season in playoff years. So, I reiterate, how can you not blame the offense for scoring 4 less points a game, yet its the defenses fault for giving up 2 more points per game.

Why are women so critical of men (concerning things which don't affect women directly)?
Q. Like this for example: "New Toys Target Men Who Hate Women" Read how critical and abrasive this woman is towards the men who use this product? Now admittedly, I am very critical of women, however the things I bring attention to are those which actually affect other men and perhaps myself personally. This woman (as do many others) seem to take it their personal and collective agenda to critique and criticize men- regardless of how personal the issue is, and whether or not the issue affects them at all. But why? Why do they care so much about what men do? "I'm eagerly attending the Air Sex contest tonight, with high hopes they'll let us take pictures. But jokes about the absurdity of sex and non-jokes about how your stupid… [cont.]

Criticism is the judgement of the merits and faults of the work or actions of one individual by another (the critic). To criticise does not necessarily imply to find fault, but the word is often taken to mean the simple expression of prejudice or disapproval.
